The purpose of this group is to connect with other Shiba Inu Pet Parents and share experience, knowledge, and stories.  Building the Shiba community and being a responsible Shiba owner will hopefully lessen the amount of Shiba's in rescue.  Some Shibas don't do well around other dogs. Who are we, and what do we do? Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue is an amazing group of hard working volunteers and foster families that dedicate their time and energy to saving the lives of unwanted puppies and dogs. We transfer puppies from overcrowded, under funded rural shelters where the dogs are at risk of euthanasia, to a loving foster home where they get the affection, socialization and medical attention they need. … We ask that you respect other members, their dogs and their boundaries, that you supervise your canines at all times while at the park with us, and as rescue advocates, we ask that all dogs in attendance be current on vaccinations and, as responsible pet owners associated with this meetup group and thus our rescue, all dogs over 6 months of age who participate in our meetup groups must be spayed or neutered.
