free cats owner took off live support

My friends mother is being took off live support today and when I asked want I could do for her, the only thing was to help her find homes for her mothers 6 cats one is a indoor and out door cat. and 5 are indoor cats only. This woman lived alone and these were her children. They are very well trained and spoiled. My friend does not want to turn them into the shelter in fear of them being put to sleep. She can not take them because she has dogs.
