6 year old black pug - Zada (needs home) :o(

Hi All -

I wrote a few months back in desperate need of some help from all of you. My son who is now 1 years old was developing some allergy like symptoms. We tried to deny it for several months until we took him into the doctors and confirmed it. We sent out a help discussion to find a home for Zada and then decided to try an alternative medicine to help my sons allergies. It seemed to work for a month and has come back to haunt us once again.

We obviously love our both our dog and son but have to be realistic when it comes to his health. Tyler (our son) loves Zada and the two of them are inseparable which causes even a bigger mess for the allergies. We raised Zada since she was 4 weeks old and have loved every minute of it. She is SUCH A GOOD DOG and so kind to everyone that comes over and visits. She has not had one health issue in six years (knock on wood) and looks like she's still two years old - CUTE!

We would love some advice BUT don't want Zada to be in an adoption center until she finds a home. We much rather have people come to our home so we can meet them and see if they are a good match. We would obviously want to be a part of Zada's">Zada's life to the last minute and not have it be cut off too soon.

This is going to be hard for us but we tried for months to work around it. My wife and I are already trying to prepare for what we have to do and it's not easy.

I would love for someone who adores PUGS and who appreciates them like we do to adopt her. She is an amazing dog who has no faults but being curious sometimes and getting stuck under the bed or couch.

Can someone help us - Or - give us some advice on who to talk with about this procedure?

I would be very intereted in meeting her and her family. I work at Petco and have been in this field for 32 years I love animals and I currantly have a 5 year old Maltese that is looking for a playmate. Please let me know when I could get together with you. Or you could meet there.
